The winery was founded in 1986, in Dafnes village area in Heraklion, particularly renowned for high quality grapes and wine. The region has rich wine making tradition and has designated as an area of superior destination of origin.

In 2004, our central production was transferred to a new ultra-modern Winery, on the provincial road Dafnes – Venerato.

The purpose of our Winery is producing, bottling and marketing of wine throughout Greece and abroad. Our main goal is the proprietary cultivation of vineyards and the production of stable and specific qualities of wine. Initially, the production time was 20 tons, today it reaches more than 500 tonnes annually.

While buying grapes for wine from local producers, the Vorizanaki family cultivates about 150 acres of privately owned vineyards with the following local and international varieties: Kotsifali, Mandilari Liatiko, Merkoyri, Muscat Hamburg, Vilana, Vidiano, Muscat white of Spina, Thrapsathiri, Athiri Moschofilero, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Grenache Rouse, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.

Produces the wines: Little Angel, Rubeus, Fantaxa, Asprochorio, Oinousia, Nextari. On Creta we use the protected of geographical indication: Vilana, Vidiano, Thrapsathiri, Kotsifali, Liatiko, Malvazia, Mantilari, Muscat of Spina, Plyto, Dafni, Romeiko, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, Sangiovese.

Our winery has the most new and modern equipment and is following the system of ISO 22000 food safety management.

Our wines have been distinguished with Greek and International Awards in Europe and Asia since 2017, which in number exceed 40.
